VOLKSWAGEN JETTA SPORTWAGEN

The 2009 Jetta SportWagen is new for 2009, rejoining the Volkswagen lineup alongside the Jetta sedan after a 3-year hiatus. The 2009 Jetta SportWagen will be offered with three different engine choices, beginning with the 170-horsepower 2.5-liter 5-cylinder, followed later in the model year by the 200-horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder and the new clean diesel engine. The Jetta SportWagen TDI is powered by an all-new 2.0-liter clean diesel engine that produces 140 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP) is now standard, as well as Volkswagen’s Prevent and Preserve Safety System with over forty standard safety features including six standard airbags and optional rear side airbags.
