CHRYSLER ASPEN



The Aspen is Chrysler’s full-size sport-utility vehicle, with a formal design that makes it immediately recognizable as a Chrysler product. Chrysler refers to the Aspen as the 300C of sport-utility vehicles and includes features such as a signature Chrysler grille similar to the 300C, a winged badge, available 20-inch chrome wheels and chrome trim. The Aspen offers seating for up to eight adults and features premium amenities, but is smaller than many of the other full-size SUVs on the market.

CADILLAC CTS



The CTS is Cadillac’s entry-luxury sport sedan, designed to compete with the best European sport sedans and was redesigned for the first time for the 2008 model year. The second-generation CTS features updates to the interior and exterior with a number of technological features. All-wheel drive is available for the first time and a new 6-speed automatic transmission is added. The CTS made its first appearance at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in August 2001 and Cadillac did extensive testing at Germany's famed Nürburgring race track. The CTS-V was added for 2004 with a 400-horsepower 5.7-liter V8 engine.

BUICK ENCLAVE



The Enclave is Buick’s luxury crossover SUV, which joined the Buick lineup in the summer of 2007 as a 2008 model. Positioned by General Motors as the vehicle that best defines the new face of Buick, the focus of the Enclave is on style and luxury. Sharing a platform with the GMC Acadia and the Saturn Outlook, the Enclave is engineered to be the quietest crossover on the road through Buick’s QuietTuning initiative, designed to reduce unwanted noise in the interior of the vehicle. Enclave features standard OnStar safety and security technology that includes enhanced emergency, OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics and navigation capabilities.

BENTLY ARNAGE



Named for one of the most challenging corners on the Le Mans racing circuit, the Arnage was fittingly introduced at the French circuit in April of 1998. It was 70 years prior that a Bentley, powered by a 4.5-liter engine, achieved victory at the 24 hours of Le Mans endurance race. To commemorate this achievement the Arnage was initially offered with a 4.5-liter engine developed with BMW and Cosworth, making it the first engine in nearly 60 years that was unique to the Bentley marque. In 2002, the Series Two Arnage was introduced, completely reworked and powered by a Bentley-built 6.75-liter V8 engine. The Arnage T was the first of the Series Two, and was followed a few months later by the Arnage R. The long-wheelbase Arnage RL was added for the 2003 model year.

AUDI A3



The Audi A3 is Audi's compact hatchback that was a new addition to the Audi lineup for 2006. Audi describes the A3 as the first four-door car with the sportiness of the TT Coupe. Delivering sporty driving dynamics in a premium compact package, the Audi A3 is designed to accommodate an active lifestyle while delivering the quality of a luxury sedan. Audi emphasizes that the A3 is not a wagon, but is designed more like a coupe that sits low to the road with a gentle sloping roofline and a short rear overhang. ASTON MARTIN DBS



The DBS is Aston Martin’s lightweight high-performance 2-seat coupe that combines the race-bred technology of the DBR9 and DBRS9 with the DB line of elegant coupes that can be traced back to the DB2 and the DB4 GT. Based on the same VH architecture as the DB9 and DBR race cars that combines pressed, extruded and cast aluminum components, the DBS structures is rigid but lightweight. The DBS is the first Aston Martin to make extensive use of ultra-light carbon-fiber body panels and the front mid-engine layout combined with a rear-mounted transaxle, results in a near-perfect weight distribution with 85 percent of the total weight within the wheelbase. The DBS has wider front and rear tracks than the DB9, with a new front bumper design and a carbon-fiber splitter.

ACURA MDX 2009



The 2009 Acura MDX is Acura’s midsize luxury crossover SUV with seating for seven occupants. Acura was one of the first import luxury brands to offer a sport utility in 1996, with the SLX, which was a rebadged Isuzu Trooper. The MDX concept vehicle was unveiled at the 2000 North American International Auto Show and the production version debuted a few months later at the 2000 New York Auto Show. For 2007 the MDX was redesigned with a more athletic appearance, a longer and wider body, a longer wheelbase and a lower ride height. Acura’s flagship SUV was tuned on the world famous Nurburgring racetrack in Germany and is the sixth Acura project to be designed and engineered in the U.S.

SMART FORTWO



The smart fortwo is a small two-seat city car that went on sale in the U.S. for the first time in 2008. A division of the Mercedes Car Group, a Daimler AG company, smart cars can be seen throughout major cities in Europe and Canada with more than 1 million smart fortwos having been produced for sale in 37 different countries. Available as a coupe or convertible, the fortwo is the smallest production car available for sale in the U.S.

SAAB 9-3




The 9-3 trails competing sports sedans. The turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine is relatively powerful and quiet. The Aero uses a smooth 2.8-liter, turbocharged six-cylinder. Handling is secure but not sporty. The ride is stiff with road and wind noise. IIHS crash-test results are impressive.

The Phantom Drophead Coupe is the first all-new car from Rolls-Royce since the rebirth of Rolls-Royce with the introduction of the Phantom Sedan in 2003, following the purchase by BMW AG. To celebrate 100 years of the famous brand, Rolls-Royce unveiled the 100EX concept drophead in 2004 and after a positive response turned the concept into reality in the form of the Phantom Drophead Coupe. A two-door four-seat convertible, the Phantom Drophead Coupe features classic Rolls-Royce styling elements like a long hood, large-diameter wheels, short front overhang and long rear overhang and incorporates elements from the 100EX such as the rear-hinged doors and the available brushed stainless steel hood.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom is the first new model from the new Rolls-Royce Motor Cars as a part of the BMW Group. Phantom is a showcase of modern technology, featuring an aluminum space-frame with aluminum panels and composite front fenders, and follows the philosophy of Sir Henry Royce who said: “Strive for perfection in everything you do.” One of the pioneering marques in the automotive world was created when Englishmen Charles Stewart Rolls and Frederick Henry Royce joined forces in 1904. After taking a trip in a car that ran poorly and proved unreliable, Royce decided he could design a much better car, and did just that.

MAYBACH 62



Maybach is Mercedes-Benz’s ultra-luxury brand that produces a new line of super-luxury sedans that combine modern technology and innovation with classic hand craftsmanship and attention to detail. The Maybach brand marks a return to the traditional of building and selling luxury automobiles 60 years ago with each car built to an individual owner’s specifications. The Maybach 57 is the standard wheelbase sedan, named in the same fashion as a luxury yacht with the 57 referring to the vehicle length in meters (5.73). The longer wheelbase Maybach 62 measures 6.17 meters in length and is designed with chauffeur driving in mind.

The 2009 Maybach 57 is powered by a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V12 that produces 543 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque combined with a 5-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with Touch Shift. The Maybach 57 S is powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 that produces 604 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque.

MASERATI QUATTROPORTE



The Quattroporte originally joined the Maserarti lineup in the early 1960s and was one of the fastest four-door sedans of its time. Maserati returned to the U.S. market in 2002 and in 2004 brought back the Quattroporte as a high-performance luxury sedan. Designed by Pininfarina, the 4-door Maserati helped the Italian marque return to profitablilty. Fiat took over ownership of Maserati from Ferrari in 2005, however Maserati and Ferrari still continue a partnership. Ferrari produces the engines for both the Quattroporte and GranTurismo.

MASERATI GANTURISMO



The GranTurismo is Maserati’s new take on a classic touring coupe with modern, beautiful and seductive Pininfarina styling, influenced by the 75th Anniversary Birdcage concept car. The GranTurismo features a powerful stance with a large, concave grille; swept-back headlights; bold fenders and a V-shaped power bulge that sweeps back from the large Maserati trident at the center of the grille. The GranTurismo is described as giving the famed Italian marque a true grand touring car that is suitable for everyday use, while delivering excellent handling, a very sporty feel and a thrilling drive. While not a full four-seater, there is room in back for two kids or flexible and tolerant adults.

LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO LP560



The 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo gets a larger engine with a new name to match. The Gallardo LP560-4 boasts a 5.2-liter V10 engine is positioned longitudinally (Longitudinale Positore) and produces an impressive 560 horses. The 4 in the name refers to the Viscous Traction system first introduced on the Diablo VT in 1993 that relies on a viscous coupling in the transmission to distribute torque between the front and rear axles. Updated headlights feature running lights that consist of 15 LEDs, and new, larger air intakes are more prominent than on its predecessor, increasing the flow of air to the engine. New taillights, cooling vents, bumper and diffuser for the completely redesigned rear makes the Gallardo LP560-4 look extremely wide.

LAMBORGHINI MURCIELAGO LP640



The 2000 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 features the Lamborghini Ad Personam personalization program that allows owners to individualize their Lamborghini at the factory. At the 2009 North American International Auto Show, Lamborghini showed an example of the Ad Personam program with a Murcielago LP640 finished in a unique, matte-luster blue paint. Three additional matte colors are offered in the Ad Personam program: Nero Nemesis is a matte-luster black, Bianco Canopus is matte white and Marrone Apus is an elegant matte brown finish.

JAGUAR XJ SERIES



The 2009 Jaguar XJ Series adds the new limited-edition flagship Super V8 Portfolio, featuring 20-inch Selena wheels, Celestial Black or Astral Gold metallic paint, unique interior colors, Rich Oak veneers, special badges and the highest level of standard equipment ever offered for a Jaguar. ISUZU ASCENDER



The Ascender is Isuzu’s midsize SUV that shares its platform with the Chevrolet TrailBlazer and the GMC Envoy. The Ascender originally replaced the Trooper for 2003 and is the largest and most powerful SUV from Isuzu. The short-wheelbase 5-passenger version was added for 2004. Isuzu Ascender

The 2008 Isuzu i-290 and i-370 continue unchanged. These pickup trucks are rebadged versions of the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon. The base extended-cab truck has a 2.8-liter four-cylinder. The 4WD i-350 is similar to the Colorado crew-cab we tested. Both engines grew in displacement and horsepower for 2007. Isuzu will leave the U.S. market in early 2009.

BUICK LACROSSE



Completely redesigned, the 2010 Buick LaCrosse builds on the success of the Buick Enclave SUV with a sculpted new design that displays Buick’s modern design. Inside the luxurious LaCrosse interior is crafted with premium materials, cool blue ambient lighting and integrated intelligent personal technologies to enhance the driving experience. Two new direct-injection dual overhead cam engines are offered, a 255-horsepower 3.0-liter V6 and a 280-horsepower 3.6-liter V6, both combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The 2009 Audi A8 adds new standard equipment including Advanced Key, Audi Parking System Advanced with rear view camera, power trunk opener, power rear sunshade, rear door sunshades, power door closers, rear vanity mirrors (A8L) and 4-zone climate control (A8 L). Leather-covered center console, leather-covered door handles and heated rear seats are now optional. The 20-inch Sport Package now includes a 7-spoke double-spoke wheel design with a high-polish aluminum finish. The new Cold Weather Package includes a 4-spoke heated leather-wrapped steering wheel with shift paddles, heated rear seats and a ski sack with rear-seat pass-through.
