The 2010 Subaru Legacy is all-new for 2010 with three different powertrain options but all with all-wheel drive. The revised 2.5-liter 4-cylinder horizontally-opposed boxer engine produces 170 horsepower, the turbocharged and intercooled 2.5-liter now delivers 265 horsepower and the 3.6-liter 6-cylinder boxer engine produces 256 horsepower. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard and a new Lineartronic CVT is optional although the 2.5GT is only offered with the 6-speed manual.
