MASERATI QUATTROPORTE
The Quattroporte originally joined the Maserarti lineup in the early 1960s and was one of the fastest four-door sedans of its time. Maserati returned to the U.S. market in 2002 and in 2004 brought back the Quattroporte as a high-performance luxury sedan. Designed by Pininfarina, the 4-door Maserati helped the Italian marque return to profitablilty. Fiat took over ownership of Maserati from Ferrari in 2005, however Maserati and Ferrari still continue a partnership. Ferrari produces the engines for both the Quattroporte and GranTurismo.
